This information is for residents in Hornet Zone 1; Ashburne Hall, Dalton Ellis Hall, Oak House, Richmond Park, Sheavyn House, Whitworth Park and Woolton Hall. Instructions for residents in Zone 2 may be different.
Wi-Fi
To use a laptop, phone or tablet, you should follow the instructions to get set up on the eduroam network. Once you have set eduroam up on your device, you will be able to connect to Wi-Fi all around campus (and at other institutions in more than 100 countries)
Some devices are not supported on eduroam or UoM_WiFi:
Wired network (Ethernet)
To connect a device using a wired connection (for example, desktop PC, PlayStation or Xbox), you will need to register its Media Access Control (MAC) address.
